Replacing the power paddle card on to the GPU tray

Use this information to install the power paddle card on to the GPU tray.

1. Read the safety information that begins on Safety and Installation guidelines.
2. Turn off the compute node and peripheral devices and disconnect the power cords and all external cables.
3. Remove the cover (see Removing the compute node cover).
4. Place the power paddle card on the mounting studs in the GPU tray and install the four screws. Then, slide the power paddle card into the GPU tray.

5. Reconnect the power paddle card cables.
6. Reinstall the air baffle (see Replacing the air baffle).
7. Reinstall the cover (see Installing the compute node cover).
8. Slide the compute node into the rack.
9. Reconnect the power cords and any cables that you removed.
10. Turn on the peripheral devices and the compute node.
