Lenovo NeXtScale nx360 M5 Compute Node - Replacing the IMM interposer assembly

Use this information to install the IMM interposer assembly.

Before you install the IMM interposer assembly, complete the following steps:

Read Safety and Installation guidelines.
If the compute node is installed in a NeXtScale n1200 Enclosure, remove it (see Removing a compute node from a chassis for instructions).
Carefully lay the compute node on a flat, static-protective surface, orienting the compute node with the bezel pointing toward you.

To install the IMM interposer assembly, complete the following steps:

Remove the cover (see Removing the compute node cover).
Place the IMM interposer assembly into the compute node.

Install the two screws that secure the IMM interposer assembly to the compute node.

Reinstall the cover (see Installing the compute node cover).
Slide the compute node into the rack.
Reconnect the power cords and any cables that you removed.
Turn on the peripheral devices and the compute node.
