Lenovo NeXtScale nx360 M5 Compute Node - Removing a ML2 riser-cage assembly

Before you remove a ML2 riser-cage assembly, complete the following steps:

Read Safety and Installation guidelines.
If the compute node is installed in a NeXtScale n1200 Enclosure, remove it (see Removing a compute node from a chassis for instructions).
Carefully lay the compute node on a flat, static-protective surface, orienting the compute node with the bezel pointing toward you.

To remove a ML2 riser-cage assembly, complete the following steps:

Remove the cover (see Removing the compute node cover).
Grasp the rear side of the ML2 riser-cage touch point and the front ML2 rise-cage suitable location of the ML2 riser-cage assembly. Use your thumb to press down the left hand side bezel (a tiny square surface) of the compute node; then lift it out of the ML2 riser-cage slot on the system board.

If an adapter is installed in the ML2 riser-cage assembly, disconnect any cables that are connected to the adapter.
Remove the adapter, if one is present, from the ML2 riser-cage assembly (see Removing an adapter/GPU adapter).
Set the adapter and the ML2 riser-cage assembly aside.
If you are instructed to return the ML2 riser-cage assembly, follow all packaging instructions, and use any packaging materials for shipping that are supplied to you.
